昨天眼看著上海的陽光漸漸被烏云遮住，為了躲開討厭的下雨天我干脆飛來了北京...帶了很多的衣服，原以為北京會冷很多，but it turned out quite comfy!!（結(jié)果天氣卻很宜人?。?BR> 今天就講講turn這個小詞。由于turn在口語當(dāng)中用法比較多，我把它分為Part A&B,這樣講起來會比較清楚。Alright~首先剛才我用了一個turn out，意思是"結(jié)果是..."，往往這個結(jié)果比預(yù)期的要不同。比如我們可以說I thought the book was dry, but it turned out a lot fun!（我原以為這本書很枯燥，但結(jié)果卻很有趣！）有的同學(xué)剛畢業(yè)開始工作可能不適應(yīng)，但是我會安慰他們說"Don't worry. The rookie may turn out to be the MVP in the team!"（別灰心，菜鳥很可能成為隊員哦?。┊?dāng)然turn out在口語里面還有一個很常用的意思，就是get out of bed（起床），例如I turned out early today because I have a con-call this morning.（我今天起得很早，因為有個電話會議）
講了turn out,自然要講一下turn in.turn in在口語里面常用的意思主要有三個。第一是"to hand in" or "to give over"（上交），比如turn in the homework（上交作業(yè)）。第二個常用的意思是"告發(fā)"，比如Mr.Anderson got killed last night. And the murderer turned himself in the next morning.（Anderson昨天晚上被殺了，殺人犯第二天早上自己去自首了。）<~~~~為什么我會想到這個例子~~~~>第三個意思大家也應(yīng)該能猜到，就是go to bed. I've been turning in late these days.（我最近一直很晚才睡）
上次講check out的時候提到"看美女"，知道"回頭率很高"怎么說嘛？嘿嘿，turn heads~ She looks gorgeous and really turns heads when walking on the street.（她很美，走在馬路上回頭率很高）head可以turn，table也同樣可以turn哦~turn the tables,意思是"扭轉(zhuǎn)局面"。There's only 10 seconds to go. The Lakers has a slim chance to turn the tables.（還剩十秒，湖人隊看來很難扭轉(zhuǎn)局面了）對了，鑰匙開門的那個動作"扭"也是用turn哦！turn the key.
