1. flew off course,飛離航線。
off表示“偏離”,為介詞:
Our office is off the main street.
我們的辦公室不靠大街。
During the storm, the ship went off course.

2. her two baby daughters, 她的兩個(gè)女嬰。
baby在這里是形容詞,指“幼小的”。

6. It was not long before a helicopter arrived on the scene to rescue the

(1)to引導(dǎo)的不定式為目的狀語。
(2)It was not long before…為固定句型,表示“不久就……”(也可以用 It will not be long
