3.declare vt. 宣布，聲明，表明
declare 申報(bào)攜帶物品(make a report of one's special belongings taken on the trip)
例句：1.Do you have anything to declare?
你有什么需要申報(bào)的嗎?
2.The goods you have declared are far in excess of your allowances.
你所申報(bào)的物品已遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超過了限定標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
4.feel vi./vt. 觸摸，感覺;認(rèn)為，以為
look/feel blue心情不好
例句：Now my girlfriend has left me，things are looking blue.
我女朋友離開了我，我的情緒很是低落。
5.gold n. 金，黃金;金黃色
a heart of gold 金子般的心(是說某人心特好，特慷慨大度。of gold是英文中的一個(gè)修辭手法.叫metaphor，中文意為暗喻，比喻東西很好都可以用這個(gè)暗喻)
例句：She has a voice of gold. Nobody could be more generous than Mrs.Jones. She really has a heart of gold.
她的聲音特好聽。沒有人會(huì)比瓊斯夫人更慷慨了，她有一顆金子般的心。
6.hand n. 手;指針;雇員;幫助，幫手
have a hand in 參與做…
例句：She had a hand in this project.
她也參與了這個(gè)課題。
on the one hand...on the other hand… 一方面…另一方面(for one thing...for another.)
例句：On the one hand, one rule limits the women's colleges to 300, and on the other hand, another rule allows the total number of women to be 1/5 of the male undergraduate population.
一方面規(guī)定在校的女生效限于300人，另一方面，又一規(guī)定允許女生總數(shù)占男生總數(shù)的l/5。
hand out 分發(fā)出去
例句：The school bus drivers cire handing out schedules.
校車司機(jī)把時(shí)刻表分發(fā)出去。
short handed 人手不夠
例句：the cafeteria is short handed so we'll have to wait in line.
