Sample response:
Well, I?would prefer to donate the?money to an animal secure center.
There are two main reasons.
First of all,I’m the person who loves animals very much and would like to do something helpful to them.?Ihad kept two dogs, a cat , some goldfishes and six parrots as my favorite pets at home. I tried all means to offer them a warm home.In return, they also brought me much happiness.Secondly,?there are many great organizations like animal secure center where homeless or injured animals can be taken good care of. These organizations?are also local charities.In order to rescue and help more animals, I’m willing to donate money and even assist these charities to raise money.
l Task2
上大學(xué)之前是否應(yīng)該有work experience.
Response tips:
Pros:
①Students with work experience feel more confident than those without any work experience.
②Necessary work experience helps students prepare betterin getting into the university they dream of.
Cons:
①Students?should not really spend so much time finding and doing just very simple part-time jobs. It’s a waste of time. They’d better focus on their study.
②Most work experience they got has nothing to do with their major they are going to take in the university.
l Task 3
建議學(xué)校開辦psychology department的magazine。
一是對(duì)學(xué)生努力的認(rèn)可;二是可以讓其他學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)如何組織材料。
聽力材料里面的女生同意:對(duì)以后就業(yè)好,是很不錯(cuò)的accomplishment;其他系學(xué)生可以因此develop organizational skills并有效利用resources。

consistency bias: when people are not aware that their opinion was inaccurate.
eg:brother Tim, 在high school當(dāng)老師,來了個(gè)新principal,他不喜歡,于是說他肯定會(huì)是一個(gè)bad leader,作出一些不受大家歡迎的改變,結(jié)果他作出的改革很好,比如說在教室里裝上了電腦,然后Tim對(duì)他贊譽(yù)有加。Professor這時(shí)提醒他說“開始的時(shí)候你不是不喜歡他嗎”,結(jié)果Tim不記得了,說一直都很看好這個(gè)校長(zhǎng)。

女生在學(xué)校,突然有很大的storm,但是她沒帶傘,明天又有論文要交。
第一個(gè)方法:坐同學(xué)的車回去,但同學(xué)在上課,得等好幾個(gè)小時(shí)。
第二個(gè)方法:打的,但是得15美元,對(duì)她來說很貴。

生物課,動(dòng)物兩種保存食物的方式,防止bacteria,
1除掉食物中水分,eg 松鼠,愛吃mushroom,會(huì)把它們晾在樹枝上,等沒有水分了再保存起來;
2放在比較冷的地方,eg beavers,愛吃tree branches and leaves,會(huì)采下來后丟到河里,冬天的時(shí)候水溫低,好保存不易長(zhǎng)bacteria。
