1. 這兩詞均可與時(shí)間段連用，表示“在……之后”，但after 指的是以過去時(shí)間為起點(diǎn)的一段時(shí)間以后，因此常與過去進(jìn)連用，而in指的是從現(xiàn)在算起的一段時(shí)間以后，因此要用于將來時(shí)或含有將來意義的句子。如：
He came back after three days. 他3天后回來了。
I’ll come back in three days. 我3天后回來。
I think he can come back in three days. 我想他3天后可以回來。
2. after 還可與時(shí)間點(diǎn)連用(in不能這樣用)，此時(shí)可用于將來時(shí)。如：
He will arrive after four o’clock. 他４點(diǎn)鐘以后到。
