The original name of Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk was The Repetition of The Old Matters. It is a collection of 10 memoirs written in prose, by Lu Xun. It is a modern piece of literature that was written in 1926. The author employed a narration style interspersed with clues and comments regarding his life and experiences during his adolescence. The memoirs vividly follow a collection of his life experiences, and his journey from the country to the city, from his family to society, and from domestic living to living abroad. It expresses simultaneous feelings of remembrance towards relatives, friends, seniorities and teachers in former days, and the criticism of the old forces and cultures.
