賽珍珠
賽珍珠(1892年-1973年)，美國(guó)作家、人權(quán)和女權(quán)活動(dòng)家。在中國(guó)生活了近40年，她把中文稱(chēng)為“第一語(yǔ)言”，把鎮(zhèn)江稱(chēng)為“中國(guó)故鄉(xiāng)”。她是唯一一個(gè)同時(shí)獲得普利策獎(jiǎng)和諾貝爾獎(jiǎng)的女作家，也是目前作品流傳語(yǔ)種最多的美國(guó)作家。代表作有《一個(gè)中國(guó)女子的述說(shuō)》、《大地》等。

Pearl S. Buck (1892-1973), was an American writer, human rights activist, and feminist. She lived in China for approximately 40 years. She declared Chinese as her "first language", and she regarded Zhenjiang as her "Chinese hometown". She is the only female writer who has won both the Pulitzer Prize and Nobel Prize, and also the American writer with works published in the most languages. Her main works include East Wind: West Wind, The Good Earth.
