文章的第一句話慣例性的沒有設(shè)空，讓我們對于文章的體裁和大意有一定的把握，所以考生應(yīng)該學(xué)會利用第一句。
21題，我們從兩方面可以確定是order，首先，點菜動詞用order，如果考生不知道這個用法，可以根據(jù)第三行的order選擇，盡管詞性不同，但是做了很有幫助的提示。
22題，固定搭配，take sth. out of， 把…從… 拿出來。
23題，固定短語，divide sth. into two halves, 把…分成兩半。選項當(dāng)中的cut有一定的迷惑性，但是指把東西切成兩半，所以最佳選項還是divide。
24題，指一份，用one。
25題，考查動詞短語，get down：下來，寫下。Settle down：定居。Set down：放下。Turn down：拒絕。所以應(yīng)該選set。
26題，根據(jù)下文I要給老夫婦買吃的，肯定是覺得他們poor。
27題，afford表示時間或金錢方面可以支付的起。Pay要和for連用。其它兩項詞義不符，所以應(yīng)該選afford。
