英國留學(xué)套磁信的書寫技巧。
1.別用新浪，中華，163什么的信箱，有可能會被當(dāng)成垃圾郵件直接掃進垃圾箱里了。這個是最郁悶的，也是如果教授不回信最有可能發(fā)生的問題。如果有GMAIL是最保險的。
我?guī)徒淌诳此]箱的時候，閑的時候會打開垃圾箱看看。上面提到的幾個，特別是新浪的，很容易被掃進去的。
2.標(biāo)題寫的吸引人一點。用HELLO，HELP這樣的，根據(jù)我的觀察，教授也通常連看都不看，直接就掃了。因為很多病毒信件都是這樣的標(biāo)題。
3.正文。千萬不要寫的太長。不要寫的像AW那樣的。越簡明越清楚越好。不要寫太長的句子，不用寫的太有文采，文采可以放在你的RP里展示。分段要清楚，最好兩段中間擱一行。(好多人寫來的信，我都有要改作文的沖動)把最重要最想問的問題放在開頭問，有必要的話結(jié)尾再問一遍。
4.不論他是副教授還是咋地，一律稱呼他為DEAR PROF.是人他就愛聽好聽的啊!(當(dāng)然小米就不用這么叫了，無論結(jié)沒結(jié)過婚的，一律叫MS就可以了。)其實把自己寫的牛與否，教授是不是太在乎的，只要展示自己最真實的一面就可以了。
5.如果怕自己E文表達不清楚，可以裝一個微軟2003或者紫光，有繁體輸入的軟件，寫繁體信件是完全沒有問題的。這邊好多系統(tǒng)都不自動識別簡體。
總體來說，使用“套磁”申請博士要比申請碩士有用，因為碩士是沒有導(dǎo)師帶的;申請理工科比文科有用，因為對于理工科的同學(xué)，你所拿到的獎學(xué)金其實就是教授的研究經(jīng)費的一部分，因此與其說是學(xué)校給你發(fā)獎學(xué)金不如說是教授給你發(fā)。而對于文科，情況完全不同，研究經(jīng)費一般由院系決定，教授可以起到的作用很有限。
如何通過套磁來增加自己的錄取機率？
一、分清楚專業(yè)再套磁
想要進行高校的套磁，大家一定要分清楚專業(yè)，因為并不是所有專業(yè)都是需要套磁的。相對來說，如果是文科生的話，選擇套磁并沒有太大的意義，因為套磁更加適合理科生。對于理科生來說，獲得的獎學(xué)金是屬于教授研究經(jīng)費當(dāng)中的一部分，所以教授更加有資格決定，是否要給你頒發(fā)獎學(xué)金。
相對來說，文科生的獎學(xué)金一般都是由院校決定的，教授所起的作用非常有限。另外，申請需要知道的是，套磁并不是萬能的，只是增加大家成功錄取以及獲得獎學(xué)金的幾率，而且還需要靠申請者和導(dǎo)師之間的有效溝通才可以。
二、套磁的時間問題
對于申請者來說，申請材料都是寄給學(xué)校之后，然后才開始考慮套磁的問題。但是提醒大家，這個時候套磁的人會很多所以反而沒有什么太大的效果。如果想要有不錯效果的套磁，那么建議大家在半年之前就可以開始準(zhǔn)備了，也就是入學(xué)前一年的6/7月份左右時間。但是這個時間，很多申請者還要忙于考試的準(zhǔn)備。
