Ⅰ. below“在……下面”，指處于比某物低的位置，不一定在某物的正下方。它的反義詞是over。如：

?、? under “在……的下面”，相當于below，有時可以通用，但它指處于某物的正下方，其反義詞是over。如：

?、? Beneath“在……的下面”, 是舊用法的文學用語，現(xiàn)在很少用。相當于below,尤其相當于under. 如：
① Children are playing beneath the window. 孩子們在窗子下面游戲。
[注]：down 是副詞，指自上而下，由高而低，常與表運動的動詞連用。其反義詞是up。如：
