On July 11, 1933, the Chinese Soviet republic temporary central government on June 30, according to the central revolutionary military commission's advice, decided for the Chinese red army of workers and peasants was founded on August 1, anniversary. On June 15, 1949, the Chinese people's revolutionary military commission issued an order, in order to "bayi" two words as the main symbol of the Chinese people's liberation army military flag and ba.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, will this anniversary renamed army day of the Chinese people's liberation army.
