Ⅰ. exciting 與excited 都含有“激動”的意思，在句中可作定語或表語。
exciting 指某事物“令人興奮、激動”，主語常是物。如：
① Skiing is more exditing than skating. 滑雪比滑冰更令人興奮。
② It was an exciting match. 那是一場激動人心的比賽。
Ⅱ. excited 表示某人對某事物“感到興奮、激動”，主語常是人。如：
① The boys were excited when they saw their team was winning 男孩們看到自己的球隊要贏了，都十分激動。
② The excited children were opening their Christmas presents.興奮的孩子們正在打開各自的圣誕禮物。
