1.I can't change a ten-pound note. 我找不開 10英鎊的鈔票。
    這里 change是動詞,意為“兌換”。change還可作名詞,意為“零錢”,如課文中的 I've got no small change, I'm afraid。此外,no +名詞表示所指的東西全然沒有。以上這句話比 I haven't got any small change更強調(diào)沒有任何一點兒零錢。
    2.I've got none.我沒有。
    這里指零錢(不可數(shù)名詞)。none也可與可數(shù)名詞連用
    None of our passengers can change this note.
    我們的乘客中沒有一個能破開這張鈔票的。
    none在句中通常單獨使用
    3.Except us.我們倆除外。
    意思是:除了我們,他們都是百萬富翁。
    語法 Grammar in use
    so與neither引導的簡短回答
    以so 或 neither開頭的簡短回答,必須用倒裝形式,即: So/Neither +助動詞+主語。假如前一句是肯定的,后一句就用so開頭;如前一句是否定的,后一句則用neither/nor開頭。前后兩句的時態(tài)要一致。

    They're open every day except Sunday.
