A:It's difficult for us to push the sale of your digital cameras nowadays.
B:What seems to be the problem?
A:Price.Frankly, your price is on the high side.
B:As you may have noticed, the price skyrockets in raw materials,so we're forced to adjust our prices accordingly.
A:I'm sorry to say we have to close business at that price. Aren't we old friends? We've had a very good business relationship over the past years,I suggest you make an appropriate reduction.
B:Well,in view of our good cooperation over the past years. Let's meet each other halfway;I'll make a reduction by3%.
那好吧,考慮到我們過去幾年里都合作愉快,我們各讓一步,我會將價格下調(diào)3%.1.Frankly, your price is on the high side.
On the high side: slightly too high
I like the house but I think the price is on the high side.
    Side給人的感覺就是偏向哪一邊,那么我們還可以說on the big/small/tight side(偏大/小/緊).
例句:These shoes are a little on the tight side.
Your (ever the product is) is more expensive than many of your competitors.
2.the price skyrockets in raw materials
Skyrocket: (of prices, etc. 價格等) to rise quickly to a very high level 飛漲;猛漲
the price skyrockets=the price has gone up a lot in price
    意思相近的表達還有"go through the roof".
go through the roof:(of prices, etc. 價格等) to rise or increase very quickly 飛漲;激增
House prices here have gone through the roof.
    "skyrocket"和"go through the roof"都指價格的大幅上漲,通常是在短時期內(nèi)的.
3.so we're forced to adjust our prices accordingly
Adjust your language to the age of your audience.
We have to discover his plans and act accordingly. 4.in view of our good cooperation over the past years
in view of something: considering something
In view of the weather, the event will now be held indoors.
    也可以說"in light of",意思相近.
He rewrote the book in the light of further research.
5.Let's meet each other half way
meet sb halfway:和某人妥協(xié),遷就,迎合 reach an agreement with sb by giving them part of what they want
I can't agree to all your suggestions, but I am prepared to meet you halfway.
1.Let's work out a position where we are both happy with the outcome.
    2.Let's have a win-win situation.
