反身代詞即人稱代詞的反身形式。如myself, yourself等。反身代詞可在句中作同位語(強調(diào))，賓語，主語補語等。以myself為例：
賓語：I bought myself a new car./我為自己買了一輛新車
用于強調(diào)：I myself was certain of the facts./我自己對事實確信無疑
主語補語：I'm feeling myself again./我又恢復(fù)了健康
