為了避免重復(fù)，或因習(xí)慣及結(jié)構(gòu)要求，句中可有一個或幾個成分被省略。被省略的有主語、謂語、表語、賓語、狀語，也可以是主語和謂語或謂語的一部分，這樣的句子被稱為省略句。

She was flying to England, and I to China.
3.省略賓語
She washed, and her husband ironed the shirts.
4.省略主謂
Good to see you again!
5.省略不定式
I meant to invite you, but forgot to.
6.并列句中的省略
In 1991 the number of branches of that company increased from nine to fifteen, and in 1994, to thirty.
7.在某些狀語從句中
He worked hard, though still poor in health.
If necessary, I'll have the contract duplicated.
Fill the form where necessary.
