在托福口語考試中，我們應該掌握的連接詞分為六類，主要包括轉折，并列，遞進，強調，舉例和因果等等。
(一)因果關系
連接詞：As ……..;Since………….;Because…………..;For reason that……..;The reason why……is……….;Because of……;On account of ……….;For the sake of;Due to;Result from;Thanks to;Attribute to;Therefore…….;Thus;Hence;As a result
