1. Under the weather
Weather是“天氣”的意思，但under the weather卻和天氣沒關系，它的意思就是“不太舒服”。
例：She's a little under the weather today, so she won't be joining us。
(她今天不太舒服，就不和我們一起了。)
2. Come down with
得了某種病，除了用catch或者suffer from，你還可以說come down with，后面直接跟什么病。
例：I think I may be coming down with a cold。
(我覺得我沒準是感冒了。)
3. Rotten
一看見rotten，你可能一下子就想到“爛”這個詞，它除了有“令人不快的”，“質量低劣的”意思，還能表示“身體不舒服”、“虛弱的”。
例：I feel rotten today。
(我今天感覺不舒服。)
4. Lay up
Lay up有“擱置”的意思，如果是跟生病或受傷扯上關系，就是表達“在家養(yǎng)病養(yǎng)傷”或“臥床不起”。
例：He was laid up by the flu。
(他得了流感，臥床不起。)
5. Pick up
Pick up有“撿”的意思，撿錢你可以用它，得病也可以。表達被別人傳染了，就可以用上pick up這個短語。
例：I think I picked up a cold from someone at work。
(我感覺自己是上班被人傳染才得了感冒。)
