Responsibilities:
Evaluate maintenance and engineering practices of the airlines and MRO’s, and identify areas to be enhanced with safety, organizational efficiency, quality and technical capacities, and propose an action plan for implementation
Provide dedicated onsite Technical Support to new customers to contribute to the smooth and safe Entry Into Service (EIS).
Provide assistance to help the operators to reduce their learning curve time period and assist the operator staff to acquire good handling methods with providing necessary transfer of know -how
Establish and maintain a good relationship with customers & authorities and to acquire reliable feedback on customers’ needs, concerns and on the overall perception of Airbus maintenance & engineering practice, and launch actions and/or activities in collaboration with the relevant Airbus organizations in China and/or Headquarter.
Co-operate with authority, monitor the maintenance & engineering performance of the Chinese airlines and MROs in respect of safety, reliability and economics, and propose necessary actions.
Provide expertise and support to Safety (GS) organization on safety prevention and event investigation aspects.
Qualifications Requirements:
Aeronautical studies or aircraft systems educational background.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in line maintenance operation on Airbus A/C (preferably on A320 or A330 or A340 family) and knowledge of airline engineering and Hangar Maintenance.
CAAC Certifying staff level II (or equivalent) Qualified (Airframe or Avionics or equivalent (EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 minimum) Airbus (China) Enterprise Management and Services Company looking for a: Maintenance & Engineering Manager Reporting to Head of Fleet Performance The position: Hay 11
