Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai was born in Afghanistan’s Logar Province in 1949.
Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai于1949年出生在阿富汗的洛加爾省。
After finishing high school in Kabul, he gained a PhD at Columbia University in the US. Ghani then spent years studying state-building and social transformation. He spent a decade working at the World Bank.
從Kabul的高中畢業(yè)后，他在美國哥倫比亞大學(xué)獲得了博士學(xué)位。然后Ghani花了幾年時間學(xué)習(xí)研究國家建設(shè)和社會轉(zhuǎn)型。他花了十年時間在世界銀行工作。
At the end of 2001, he became chief advisor to President Hamid Karzai, and later Afghanistan’s finance minister. He stood for president in 2009 but only gained 3 percent of the vote.
