The World Economic Forum (WEF) started its annual meeting Wednesday at the Swiss ski resort of Davos under the theme “The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business".
世界經(jīng)濟(jì)論壇年會周三在瑞士滑雪勝地達(dá)沃斯舉行，今年的主題是“重塑世界：對社會、政治和商業(yè)的影響”。
World Economic Forum (WEF，世界經(jīng)濟(jì)論壇) 是以研究和探討世界經(jīng)濟(jì)領(lǐng)域存在的問題(studying and discussing economic issues around the world)、促進(jìn)國際經(jīng)濟(jì)合作與交流(improving international economic cooperation and exchange)為宗旨的非官方國際性機(jī)構(gòu)(international non-governmental organization)，總部設(shè)在瑞士日內(nèi)瓦。其前身是1971年由現(xiàn)任論壇主席、日內(nèi)瓦大學(xué)教授克勞斯•施瓦布創(chuàng)建的“歐洲管理論壇”(European Management Forum)。1987年，“歐洲管理論壇”更名為“世界經(jīng)濟(jì)論壇”，因每年都在瑞士達(dá)沃斯舉行，也被稱為達(dá)沃斯論壇(Davos Forum)。
本屆年會圍繞“擁抱破壞性創(chuàng)新”(embracing disruptive innovation)、“取得包容性增長”(achieving inclusive growth)、“滿足社會新期待”(meeting society’s new expectations)以及“實(shí)現(xiàn)可持續(xù)發(fā)展”(achieving sustainable growth)等四大領(lǐng)域的議題進(jìn)行討論。
