Nods for the 56th annual Grammy Awards will be handed on out Friday night in Los Angeles during "The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!" television special. LL Cool J will act as emcee for the festivities, just as he did last year.

Taylor Swift, Robin Thicke and Lorde were among the big artists expected to be honored by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, which designed the awards as "a peer honor, awarded by and to artists and technical professionals for artistic or technical achievement, not sales or chart positions."
本次提名的熱門人選包括 Taylor Swift, Robin Thicke 以及 Lorde。美國(guó)國(guó)家錄音藝術(shù)與科學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)頒布這一獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)旨在“獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)過去一年中對(duì)業(yè)界有藝術(shù)或?qū)I(yè)性貢獻(xiàn)的藝人，而不是根據(jù)銷量和排行榜的表現(xiàn)評(píng)選。”
