A British artist has created a quirky piece of "Walkie Talkie" by building retro phones into a variety of shoes, the Daily Mail of London reported. Each Walkie Talkie, upcycled to a new lease of life by combining recycled handsets sent in by customers of "O2 Recycle" and iconic vintage shoes, performs exactly as a normal phone with the keypad incorporated into the sole of each shoe. Customers who recycle their gadgets will be paid up to ￡260 to support this mobile phone upcycling project.
