“I would like the opportunity to discuss a possible pay raise along with more work responsibilities.” (我希望能藉由擔負更多的工作責任而加薪。)
不該說什么：
“I have been working very hard lately and I feel I deserve a salary increase.” (我近都在加班，所以我希望薪水能加一些。)
“I am working much harder than my colleagues but I'm getting paid the same as them. I should be getting paid more.” (跟其它同事比起來，我工作更努力，薪資還拿的一樣，我認為我的薪水應該比其它人領得多。)
“I've been working here so many years and I'm still earning the same salary.” (我在這家公司工作很多年，薪水還是一樣。)
