(一)強(qiáng)調(diào)賓語
Such good students we have never seen.像這樣好的學(xué)生，我們還從來沒有見過。(直接按照英語順序翻譯)
Not a word did she say the whole two hours.整整兩個(gè)小時(shí)她一句話也沒有說。(把賓語還原到謂語動(dòng)詞后面翻譯)

二、在動(dòng)詞前面加上助動(dòng)詞do，也是英語中一種表示強(qiáng)調(diào)的方法。翻譯成漢語時(shí)，可使用“的確，確實(shí)，務(wù)必，一定，千萬，真的”等詞來突出強(qiáng)調(diào)語氣。
She did accomplish the task in time.她的確準(zhǔn)時(shí)完成了任務(wù)。
We do have sufficient food and drink.我們確實(shí)有足夠的事物和飲料。
三、英語中，如果在what, where, who ,why, how等疑問詞后面加上the devil，the hell, on earth, in(或under)heaven等詞組用來加強(qiáng)語氣，有時(shí)在某些否定詞或高級(jí)后面也可以加上on earth以增強(qiáng)語氣。翻譯成漢語時(shí)，可以增加“究竟，到底”等詞來處理。
