Qualifications/Requirements:
Electrical Engineering background
The candidate will work with researchers in GRC to develop electric powertrain technology for electric vehicle.
He/she will be involved into design and integration of an electrical system including battery, charging circuit, motor drive and controller, etc. Knowledge and hands-on experience of power circuit design and test are required.
Knowledge and experience on motor control design and test are preferred.
Students in Ph.D or Master program with Engineering or equivalent background.
Knowledge in Matlab/Simulink is a plus
Knowledge in Vehicle control is a strong plus
