Within BP, Petrochemicals is a global Strategic Performance Unit (SPU) with operations in each of the 3 major regions US, Europe & Asia. As an overall summary of the business, we buy a range of feedstocks for input into our manufacturing units, the majority of these units have been built and operate utilising our proprietary technology. Our sales & marketing teams supply our products to our global customer base. Petrochemicals employs 2,500 people across the globe and made over $1bn in in profits during 2010.
This post will be part of the central Finance team that manages all of the Planning, Performance and Reporting (PPR) activity for the Petrochemicals business.
Role Attributes
Support the finance and accounting processes in the central SPU team
Fast track to professional qualification, CPA, ACCA
Exposure to senior leaders within BP and a broad international business environment.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor or Master graduate in Finance or Economics in 2012 preferred
Fluent English, both oral and written
Strong numerical and analytic skills
Strong in computer skills especially in Excel
Good team player and interpersonal skills
