Facebook是風(fēng)靡國外的一個社交網(wǎng)站，很多人一上網(wǎng)打開的第一個網(wǎng)站就是Facebook，有些人上網(wǎng)也就是為了看Facebook上有什么新動向。于是新詞出現(xiàn)：Facebook fever“社交網(wǎng)站狂熱癥”。
Facebook fever refers to the uncontrollable urge to check one's facebook every time one comes in contact with a computer.
“社交網(wǎng)站狂熱癥”是指人們每次接觸電腦就忍不住要查看自己Facebook賬號里頭有什么新動向的沖動表現(xiàn)。
來看下面這個例子：
Sam: "Dude, you've been on the computer for four hours reloading the same page. Don't you have a final exam tomorrow?"
薩姆：兄弟，你已經(jīng)刷新一個網(wǎng)頁四個小時了，你明天不是還有個期終考試么？
Kyle: "Facebook Fever."
凱爾：社交網(wǎng)站狂熱癥。
Sam: "No one has posted on your wall in days."
薩姆：就沒人在你主頁上留言。
Kyle: "How do you know? They could have posted in between now and the last time that I reloaded the page!"
凱爾：你怎么知道沒有？他們很有可能在我剛才刷新完就留言了！
