你把檔案“放”哪里，一般情況下我們大概會(huì)說(shuō)：Where did you put the files？ 其實(shí)說(shuō) Where did you keep the files？ 也是可以的。嚴(yán)格說(shuō)來(lái) put 是單純“放”在那里，而 keep 則有“保存”的意思。不過(guò)兩者其實(shí)意思很接近。比方說(shuō)你喝了牛奶還剩一些，我對(duì)你說(shuō)：Please put the milk in the refrigerator. （請(qǐng)把牛奶放在冰箱。） 或是 Please keep the milk in the refrigerator. 都行。
2. How long is it gonna be？ Probably？
大概要多久??？
當(dāng)我們請(qǐng)人家辦一件事時(shí)，最不希望在那里苦等。所以呢，的辦法就是先問(wèn)一下：How long is it gonna be？ （需要多久呢？）有時(shí)可以視情況在句尾加上 Probably？ 就是請(qǐng)對(duì)方大概估算一下，不需太過(guò)精確。比方說(shuō)你電腦壞了，要技術(shù)人員幫你修理，就不妨順便問(wèn)一下：How long is it gonna be？ Probably？（大概需要多久？）這里 gonna 是口語(yǔ)講法，相當(dāng)于 going to.
像這種“大概多久”的問(wèn)法，也可以用approximately 這個(gè)詞。比方說(shuō)：Approximately how long will it take to arrive home？ （大概要多久才能到家呢？）
