同樣的道理, crabwise表示“（像蟹行般的）向一邊的,橫行地）”,如: to edge crabwise out of the path of the speeding vehicle （側(cè)身避過疾馳而來的汽車）.
此外,crabwise還表示 “小心翼翼的,拐彎抹角的”,如: a crabwise way of presentingthe facts（拐彎抹角陳述事實的方式）
