現(xiàn)在分詞與不定式

現(xiàn)在分詞和不定詞皆可作賓語補(bǔ)語
    一般說來, 現(xiàn)在分詞表示動作過程的一部分,即動作在進(jìn)行; 不定詞表示動作全部過程的結(jié)束,即動作發(fā)生了。
    I saw the burglar steal into the bank at night……
    我看見盜賊夜晚溜進(jìn)了銀行。
    I saw the burglar stealing into the bank when I was watching the stars at night.
    當(dāng)我在夜晚觀賞星星的時候我看見盜賊正偷偷溜進(jìn)銀行。
    不定詞作賓語補(bǔ)語表示一次性動作, 現(xiàn)在分詞作賓語補(bǔ)語表示動作在反覆進(jìn)行。
    I felt my head bump against something.
    我感覺到我的頭撞上了什么東西。
    I felt the earth shaking.
    我感覺到地在晃動。
    不定詞作賓語補(bǔ)語表示動作發(fā)生的事實, 現(xiàn)在分詞作賓語補(bǔ)語用以描繪情景。
    I wanted to watch the sun rising above the sea level.
    我想看見太陽在海平面上升起。
    I watched the sun rise yesterday.
    我昨天看到了日出。
    在沒有必要區(qū)分賓語補(bǔ)語的動作是在進(jìn)行還是一次的時候,二者皆可用,意思相同。
    I saw a lot of people come in and go out of his house.
    I saw a lot of people coming in and going out of his house.
    我看見很多人在他家進(jìn)進(jìn)出出。
