1） May I introduce you to my friend Susan？
恕我介紹一下我的朋友蘇珊。
* “May I……？”是“可以……嗎？”的意思，用以求取承諾或允許時(shí)使用的措辭，是極為重要的用法之一。
e.g. You may come if you wish.如果你愿意的話，你就來(lái)吧。
2） This is my friend Susan.這位是我的朋友蘇珊。
* 注意這里要用“This is……”，而不說(shuō)“She is……”。
3） I'm glad to meet you.幸會(huì)。高興見(jiàn)到你。
* 若要強(qiáng)調(diào)高興，可如 I am so glad to……般把 so 插在里面。這 so 多見(jiàn)于女性使用。
4） Cathy has told me so much about you.我常常聽(tīng)到凱茜提到你。
* so much about you 是“提到很多有關(guān)你的事”的意思。
5） Goodbye, it was nice meeting you.再見(jiàn)，很榮幸認(rèn)識(shí)你。
* 這是美國(guó)一般用于和首次認(rèn)識(shí)的人道別的招呼語(yǔ)。
也可以說(shuō)做“I'm glad to have met you.”。

你過(guò)的還好嗎？
* 這是問(wèn)人自前次離開(kāi)之后情況的慣用表達(dá)。
7） I haven't seen you for a long time.好久沒(méi)有見(jiàn)到你了。

* 問(wèn)現(xiàn)在的情況，常用于日常會(huì)話中。
9） Please stop by （drop in） sometime.請(qǐng)于近日過(guò)來(lái)坐坐。
* stop by 是“順道來(lái)”，有時(shí)也使用 stop in 或 drop in.
