Cloudy
There is a small garden behind our house. Last spring weplanted some water melons there. We hoped they would bear （結(jié)果）。 Every day we went to water them. When summer came， we were happy to see they grew a little faster. Then the flowers were blooming. What beautiful the flowers！ [How beautiful the flowers were！]（2） We went to see them more often. Then autumn came. Can you imagine what we saw there one day？ A little watermelon like a ping-pong ball！ Little as it was， we liked it very much because it was the fruit of our hard work. I thought it might enter“The Guinness（吉尼斯）World Records”for its small size！

這兩篇日記充分體現(xiàn)了日記的特點(diǎn)：語(yǔ)言生動(dòng)、活潑，內(nèi)容寫自己的心里話，讀來(lái)十分有趣，某些語(yǔ)言上的不足之處點(diǎn)評(píng)修改如下：
（1）用形容詞批評(píng)、贊揚(yáng)、對(duì)某人行為下評(píng)論時(shí)常用句型it is +形容詞+ of +行為人+ to do.其中用介詞of，不能用for.文中的it是形式賓語(yǔ)，也需遵守這一規(guī)則。這樣的形容詞常用的是：brave， careless， clever， foolish， good， （un）kind， polite， right， wrong， rude， （un）selfish， silly 等。
（2）這句感嘆句用錯(cuò)了。應(yīng)該用“what +名詞”或者“How +形容詞+主語(yǔ)+其他”。
