沙瓦那藝術(shù)與設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院,1978年成立,quarter 制,為有天分的學(xué)生成立,讓他們?cè)谝曈X(jué)藝術(shù),設(shè)計(jì),建筑藝術(shù),和藝術(shù)與建筑史的職務(wù)部份有所成就,離savannah國(guó)際機(jī)場(chǎng)有20里,臺(tái)灣同學(xué)很多,約有一百人左右,該校也很愿意提供臺(tái)灣優(yōu)秀同學(xué)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金機(jī)會(huì)。

您如果是非本科系出身的學(xué)生,這所學(xué)校可以多加考慮,因?yàn)槭且凰C合型的藝術(shù)學(xué)校,能夠選修或補(bǔ)修的大學(xué)部課程相當(dāng)多,沙凡那Savannah是美國(guó)知名的漂亮城市之一,該校有不少亞洲學(xué)生。
該校畢業(yè)生就職率很高,在這之中3-D animation的畢業(yè)生很受歡迎,有很多專業(yè)公司來(lái)此尋人和演講喔！例如Pixar, Disney, ILM（ industrial light and magic）, digital domain, Sony imageworks,will vinton…… etc.
該校的admission officer中有一位本籍臺(tái)灣的 Julie 小姐會(huì)講中文,每年會(huì)到臺(tái)灣三到四次參加教育展或是新一代設(shè)計(jì)展,她的建議是請(qǐng)盡早寄出你的application form,不管你的成績(jī)單,SOP,托福成績(jī)和作品集是否都準(zhǔn)備好了,先寄出application form就可以獲得專人與你聯(lián)絡(luò)和打點(diǎn)一切的優(yōu)勢(shì),接下來(lái)再寄出其他的文件。 該校接受條件式入學(xué),托福成績(jī)一般來(lái)說(shuō)有470（紙筆）以上就可以了！
SCAD （http://www.scad.edu/）現(xiàn)有七個(gè)所、25系,研究所也有23個(gè)主修,學(xué)生在2004-2005學(xué)年度也已超過(guò)一萬(wàn)人。校園除了Savannah本部,還有專門提供off-campus program的 SCAD-Lacoste （http://www.scad.edu/lacoste/） 和即將成為正式分部的 SCAD-Atlanta （http://www.scad.edu/scadatlanta/）,絕大部份科系也都提供線上課程E-learning,讓您不管身在何處都可以修課。位于法國(guó)的Lacoste校區(qū)風(fēng)景優(yōu)美,學(xué)生也有機(jī)會(huì)到訪首府巴黎和西班牙、義大利等地,拓展自己的藝術(shù)視野。SCAD-Atlanta在學(xué)校的計(jì)畫中是要成為一個(gè)獨(dú)立的學(xué)校,目前雖然還是off-campus,但也提供 animation, architecture, art history, broadcast design and motion graphics, computer art, drawing, design, English, graphic design, illustration, interactive design and game development, interior design and painting 等13個(gè)科系,包含9個(gè)研究所等級(jí)的系,提供主校區(qū)Savannah所缺乏的都市資源。
