貓頭鷹遇見(jiàn)斑鳩。斑鳩說(shuō)：“您打算到哪兒去？”貓頭鷹說(shuō)：“我打算到東邊去?！卑啉F說(shuō)：“您因?yàn)槭裁淳壒氏驏|邊搬呢？”貓頭鷹說(shuō)：“鄉(xiāng)村里的人都討厭我叫，我因?yàn)檫@個(gè)緣故才搬到東邊去?！卑啉F說(shuō)：“要是您能改變叫的聲音，那就行了；要是您不能改變叫的聲音，那么就是您搬到東邊去，那兒的人還是會(huì)討厭您的叫聲?！?BR> --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE OWL MEETS THE RINGDOVE
An owl met a ringdove. The ringdove said：“ Where are you about to go ？” The owl said：“ I am about to move to the east.” The ringdove said：“ For what reason are you moving？” The owl said：“ The villagers all detest that I screech； for that reason I am moving to the east.” The ringdove said：“ If you can change the sound of your cry， it will be all right； if you cannot change the sound of your cry， even if you move to the east， the villagers will still detest your sound.”
