A：A funny thing happened to me the other day.
前幾天我碰見了一件有趣的事兒。
B：Oh, yes?
噢，是嗎?
A：I was just thinking about someone I went to school with, this boy I was quite friendly with in third grade. We used to hang out together- he lived next door- but then my parents moved and I changed schools and never saw him again.
我正想著和我一起上學的一個人，我上三年街的時候和這個男孩非常好。。我們曾經總在一起，他就住在隔壁，但之后我的父母搬家，我換了學校，再也沒有見過他。
B：Mmm.
嗯。
A：Well，I was walking down Nan Jing Dong Lu (Nan-Jing E. Rd.) during my lunch break thinking about this boy-I have no idea why I was thinking about him.
我午休的時間正走在南京東路(南京東路)上，想著那個男孩，我不知道為什么想起他。
B：Really?
真的嗎?
A：Yes. And suddenly I heard someone call my name. I turned around and there was this man looking at me. I didn't recognize him at all, but he obviously knew who I was.
是的。突然我聽到有人叫我的名字。我轉過身，有個人看著我。我沒認出他是誰，但他顯然知道我是誰。
B：Oh, yeah, that's embarrasing when that happens.
哦，是的，發(fā)生那種事情真令人尷尬。
A：You got it. Well, he walked up to me and said my name again and then I realized it was the boy I had been thinking about, the one from third grade!
你說對了。他走到我面前，說了一遍我的名字，然后我意識到是那個男孩，我一直在想著的，小學三年級的那個男生!
