Song of Seven Sons-Hong Kong
“Song of Seven Sons -Hong Kong” is a poem written by Wen Yiduo in March 1925 while he studied abroad in the United States. This poem tells how Hong Kong, a part of Chinese territory, has long been separated from the motherland, and how people wish for a reunion. It expresses both nostalgia for and praise of the motherland along with the repulsion towards the imperialist aggression.
