臺北故宮，又稱臺北故宮博物院、中山博物院。臺北故宮博物院座落于臺北市士林區(qū)至善路二段221號，始建于1962年，1965年落成。占地總面積約16公頃。臺北故宮博物院藏品包括清代北京故宮、沈陽故宮和原熱河行宮等處舊藏之精華以及海內(nèi)外各界人士捐贈的文物精品。是中國大型綜合性博物館、臺灣規(guī)模最大的博物館，也是中國三大博物館之一，研究古代中國藝術(shù)史和漢學(xué)的重鎮(zhèn)。

Taipei Palace Museum
The Taipei Palace Museum, also known as Zhongshan Museum, is located in Number 221, Zhishan Road, Shihlin District, Taipei City. It was built in 1962, completed in 1965 and covers a total area of about 16 hectares. The Taipei Palace Museum collects the essence of treasures from the Qing Dynasty Imperial Palace in Beijing, Shenyang Imperial Palace and the former Rehe palace, as well as the antiques from Chinese and foreign donors. It is the largest museum in Taiwan and also one of China's three major museums. It stands as a major site for the study of ancient Chinese art history and sinology.
