北洋政府
北洋政府(1912-1928年)是以袁世凱為首的晚清北洋派占主導(dǎo)地位的中國中央政府，于1913年10月6日袁世凱當(dāng)選中華民國首任正式大總統(tǒng)后形成。北洋政府是中國歷史上第一個以和平的方式完整繼承前朝疆域的政權(quán)，也是中國繼清朝滅亡后第一個被國際承認(rèn)的中國政府。北洋政府曾在維護(hù)國家主權(quán)和領(lǐng)土完整，維護(hù)中華民國對外蒙古領(lǐng)土完整作出過重要貢獻(xiàn)，直到1928年張學(xué)良實(shí)行“東北易幟”加入國民政府，北洋政府結(jié)束。

Warlord Government of Northern China
The Warlord Government of Northern China (1912-1928) refers to a central government predominated by factions of northern China during the late Qing Dynasty. These were led by Yuan Shikai and formed following the official election of Yuan as president of the Republic of China on October 6th of 1913. This was the first regime to inherit the complete territory of the former dynasty in a peaceful manner in all of Chinese history. It was also the first Chinese government that was internationally acknowledged after the Qing Dynasty. It made significant contributions in safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity, particularly with regard to outer Mongolia. It lasted until 1928 when Zhang Xueliang implemented the "Return of Northeastern China" policy. It then became incorporated into the National Government and from then onwards the Government of the Republic of China established by the Kuomintang represented Chinese government.
