    采薇 Homecoming after the war
    昔我往矣，楊柳依依。
    When I left here,
    Willows shed tear.
    今我來思，雨雪霏霏。
    Now I come back,
    On snowy track.
    行道遲遲，載渴載饑。
    Long, long the way,
    Hard, hard the day.
    我心傷悲，莫知我哀。
    My grief o'er flows.
