報道中的anti-graft agency也可寫做“anti-corruption agency”，指的是“反貪機構(gòu)”，中文里的“反貪局”、“反貪小組”或“反貪委員會”都可用“anti-graft agency/ anti-corruption agency”來表示。
Graft在這里指“貪污、受賄、贓物”，如：The agency tries to clear the graft，waste and inefficiency out of government.（該機構(gòu)試圖消滅政府中貪贓枉法、揮霍浪費和效率低下等現(xiàn)象。）
另外，graft也可用作動詞，指“用不正當方法謀取”。
此外，graft常用來形容“植物嫁接”、“皮膚移植”，如：a skin graft on the burnt leg（移植在燙傷腿上的皮膚）。
