題型多是雅思閱讀考試的一個特點，也是它的一個難點。閱讀考試題型歸納為如下10種：(1)找段落的小標題(2)判斷題(T/F/NG) (3)問答題(4)選擇題)(5)完成句子題(6)填圖填表題(7)摘要填空題(8)搭配題(9)全文主旨題(10)特殊題型，下面來讓我們看一下“雅思閱讀中全文主旨題解題技巧”。
這類題型要求找出一篇文章的主旨，即整篇文章的中心意思。做這類題目應注意如下幾點：
1.題目以“四選一”或“五選一”的形式出現(xiàn)。
2.題干中常有the aim of the writer(作者寫文章的目的)、the title(文章的標題)、the maintheme(文章的主旨)等詞。
例如：

不管全文主旨題是文章考題的第一題還是最后一題，都應在做完該篇文章的其他題目后，再做全文主旨題。這時，常常不需要再看文章，即可直接做出來。全文主旨題一般還是比較簡單的。
