一、結構分析
推薦信寫作主體主要分三部分展開，包括：開頭段(表明寫作意圖)、第二段(說明推薦原因)、結尾段(表達感謝和期待)。
二、推薦信常用句式表達
開頭句型：
1、我寫此信的目的是代表······人，他/她申請···職位。
I am writing on behalf..., an applicant for the position as...
2、根據(jù)貴方的要求，我愿意毫無保留地推薦···為最佳人選。
With reference to your requirements, I shall, without reservation, recommend...as an ideal candidate.
中間段落常用表達：
1、他聰明、勤奮、知識面寬、經驗豐富，有成為頂尖學者的巨大潛力，對此我很有信心。
I am confident that with his intelligence, diligence and extensive knowledge and experience, ... has great potential for developing into a very fine scholar.
2、他動力十足，精力旺盛，為人可靠，天性樂觀，最重要的是他有很強的人際交往能力。
He is highly motivated, energetic, reliable and cheerful, and above all he has strong interpersonal skills.
3、他愿意在壓力下工作，并具有領導素質。
He is willing to work under pressure with leadership quality.

He’s gotten enough attributes to make himself popular in any group.
5、每個和他一起工作的人都了解他的性格有多好。
Everyone who has worked with him knows what a good personality he has.
結尾句型：
1、總之，我相信···十分勝任···工作。
In closing it is my belief that ...is well competent for the job of ....
2、因此，我毫不猶豫的推薦····，以供貴方考慮。
Therefore, I don’t hesitate to recommend...as the right person for your consideration.
三、推薦信寫作練習
Directions:
One of your friends wants to apply for a job involving working with foreign teenagers. Write a letter :
1) Recommend him/her.
2) Describe his/her past experience.
3) Explain the reasons.
Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use “Li Ming” instead.
Do not write your address.
