分析學(xué)校背后的動機
首先，出于更好地衡量學(xué)生之前的學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)歷以及未來學(xué)習(xí)方向，引進(jìn)學(xué)校認(rèn)為更合適的學(xué)生入讀的目的。美國各個學(xué)校提高了入學(xué)門檻，審核趨于嚴(yán)格，部分學(xué)校和部分專業(yè)已經(jīng)明確學(xué)生需要提供PS。
一般情況下，學(xué)生需要提交的申請的必要材料分為兩大類：一是學(xué)術(shù)類：即在讀證明、畢業(yè)證、成績單、語言成績單等(雅思、托福等);二是身份類，即：護(hù)照、出生證明公證等。但如果學(xué)生尤其是申請碩士及更高學(xué)位的學(xué)生能提供導(dǎo)師的推薦信、實習(xí)證明、實習(xí)證明、簡歷、學(xué)習(xí)計劃、PS等則更有助于申請。

申請對象是學(xué)校
在申請時，書寫的內(nèi)容多為學(xué)習(xí)計劃。它可以涉及多方面，除可以強調(diào)個人的學(xué)習(xí)成績外，還可以寫自己與申請專業(yè)相關(guān)的見解等，也可以提到在申請專業(yè)領(lǐng)域中，該申請學(xué)校有哪些學(xué)者、教授或是研究方向感興趣(更適用申請研究型碩士及以上學(xué)位課程)，以及報考該學(xué)校和專業(yè)的原因，以及今后準(zhǔn)備從哪些方面入手，最終努力的方向等。

而在簽證環(huán)節(jié)，則只是在學(xué)生出現(xiàn)特殊經(jīng)歷時需要補充PS來證明學(xué)生的真正目的是留學(xué)。書寫的內(nèi)容則多注重個人基本情況介紹，所受教育經(jīng)歷，工作經(jīng)歷，為什么選擇赴澳留學(xué)?為什么選擇該學(xué)校?為什么選擇該專業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)?學(xué)成后的計劃?等部分，總篇幅大約800-1000字。

Tianjin, China, my birth place and living city has always attracted me with her diverse cultures which endow me with rich cultural background. I remember during my childhood, I was very curious about different styles of buildings, when walking on the street with my mom.
