南洋理工大學(xué)宿舍環(huán)境

    南洋理工大學(xué)（Nanyang Technological University），為國(guó)際科技大學(xué)聯(lián)盟（Global Alliance of Technological Universities，簡(jiǎn)稱G7聯(lián)盟）發(fā)起成員、AACSB認(rèn)證成員、國(guó)際事務(wù)專業(yè)學(xué)院協(xié)會(huì)（APSIA）成員，是新加坡一所科研密集型大學(xué)。
    Halls

NTU currently has 21 Halls of Residence, with an average of 600 residents per hall. Three new halls along Nanyang Crescent will be ready to receive their first residents for AY17/18, bringing the number of halls up to 24.          Halls are co-ed by floor or wing and offer single and double occupancy rooms. Double rooms are shared by residents of the same gender. Rooms are fully furnished.          Most halls have gender specific communal showers and toilets and feature rooms with no attached bathroom. Rooms with attached suite-style shower and toilet are either dedicated or shared by adjacent rooms.          All rooms at Halls 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 16 are fitted with air-conditioners on a pay-for-use basis. Selected rooms at Crescent, Pioneer, Binjai, Tanjong, Banyan and the Nanyang Crescent Halls are fitted with air-conditioners, also on a pay-for-use basis.          Every hall has communal lounges, reading rooms, pantries and laundry rooms with washing machines and dryers.                     宿舍樓          南洋理工大學(xué)現(xiàn)有21個(gè)住宿區(qū)，每個(gè)住宿區(qū)平均有600個(gè)學(xué)生。南洋新月小區(qū)還有三棟新的公寓樓，以前準(zhǔn)備好接待17/18學(xué)年的新生，屆時(shí)住宿樓將達(dá)到24座。          每個(gè)宿舍樓按樓層或兩側(cè)男女混住，提供單間和雙間。雙人間由同性兩名學(xué)生合住。房間已經(jīng)全面裝修。          大部分宿舍樓有公共淋浴設(shè)備和洗手間，不帶浴室的獨(dú)立臥室。帶淋浴設(shè)備的功能室和洗手間由相鄰的兩個(gè)房間共用。          3，，5，8，9，10，11，12，13，14，15&16號(hào)宿舍樓的房間配備有付費(fèi)使用的空調(diào)。Crescent, Pioneer, Binjai, Tanjong, Banyan and the Nanyang Crescent的房間也有付費(fèi)使用的空調(diào)。          每棟宿舍樓有公共休息室，閱讀師，餐廳和帶洗衣機(jī)和烘干機(jī)的洗衣間。

Rooms                 Furniture & Fittings               Rooms are furnished with a bed, mattress, study table, chair, wardrobe, bookshelf and soft board (to pin notes on, etc.). Each room is fitted with window coverings such as venetian blinds or curtains, lighting and a fan. There are Ethernet connections in each room. Other fittings may be provided and these vary from hall to hall.          Bedding, Bed linen, pillows and blankets are notprovided. The hall pages provide bed (mattress) sizes for those who wish to bring fitted sheets.          Residents are required to take inventory of the furniture & fittings and submit a Room Checklist within 3 days of your check-in. In order for us to set things right, any irregularities are to be promptly reported.          房間          家具和設(shè)施          南洋理工大學(xué)宿舍有床，床墊，書(shū)桌椅，櫥柜，書(shū)架，軟板（用來(lái)釘圖釘）。每個(gè)房間都配備窗飾，比如百葉窗或者窗簾；還有燈光，風(fēng)扇。寬帶網(wǎng)絡(luò)也覆蓋每個(gè)房間。其他設(shè)備根據(jù)每個(gè)宿舍也有不同的配備。          床鋪，床單，枕頭和毯子是不提供的。宿舍樓頁(yè)面會(huì)介紹床鋪（床墊）的尺寸，以便你制定床單。      Electrical Appliances          Utility Charges. There is no utility charge for electricity or water with the exception of installed refrigerators and air-conditioners as specified below.          Refrigerators: A utility charge of $80* per period or any part thereof (not pro-rated) will apply per fridge installed. Residents intending to install a fridge in their room are required to submit a Fridge Declaration. A charge of $160* per period will be levied for failure to declare the installation of a fridge. Refrigerators are restricted to a maximum height of 1.2m.          Air-conditioners (Hall 4) Residents of the 1st & 2nd floors of Hall 4 are allowed to install wall unit air-conditioners in their rooms. Installation arrangements are made by the resident at his/her expense and a utility charge of $90* per month will apply. The units are to be removed upon withdrawal from the Hall and the resident will be required to make good any damage to the room.          Air-conditioners (Halls 3, 5, 8 - 16, Crescent, Pioneer, Binjai, Tanjong & Banyan Halls) All rooms in Halls 3, 5, 8 - 16 are fitted with air-cons. Selected rooms in Crescent, Pioneer, Binjai, Tanjong & Pioneer Halls are fitted with air-cons. To operate the air-con, residents will require a Pre-Paid Card (PPC) which is available for sale at their respective Admin Office for $5*.          電器          除了學(xué)校安裝的冰箱和空調(diào)，基本上沒(méi)有要收水電費(fèi)的的設(shè)施了。具體如下：          冰箱：每學(xué)期80美元。有意安裝冰箱的住戶需要簽署冰箱聲明。沒(méi)有簽聲明的的每學(xué)期罰收160美元。冰箱最高不能超過(guò)1.2米。          空調(diào)（4號(hào)宿舍）：4號(hào)宿舍1、2層的住戶可以安裝柜機(jī)空調(diào)。安裝費(fèi)用由住戶承擔(dān)，空調(diào)每月收取90美元?？照{(diào)移除的時(shí)候，住戶需要移除過(guò)程中對(duì)房間造成的損壞負(fù)責(zé)。          空調(diào)（3、5、8-16號(hào)宿舍，以及Crescent, Pioneer, Binjai, Tanjong & Banyan宿舍區(qū)）：3、5、8-16號(hào)宿舍的每間房都配備空調(diào)。Crescent, Pioneer, Binjai, Tanjong & Pioneer 宿舍樓的部分房間配備空調(diào)。使用空調(diào)需要辦一個(gè)充值卡，充值卡可以在相關(guān)管理辦公室購(gòu)買，5美元一張。
