Scholarships cover a wide scope of academic pursuits, musical and athletic talents as well as community service and research activities. Our scholarship programs are highly competitive and each year Acadia awards over $4 million in scholarships, scholar-bursaries, bursaries, awards, and prizes to new and returning students.

Entrance Scholarships
Acadia recognizes and rewards achievement and potential, and we make it easy to apply! When you apply to an Acadia undergraduate program, you will automatically be considered for an entrance scholarship, provided you meet the March 1st deadline and the following criteria:
You are a high school, secondary level student or transfer student.
You have an average of at least 80% in the courses required for admission. (We calculate your scholarship average by combining the results of your grade 11 and mid-year grade 12 courses that are required for admission.) Please complete the scholarship application online throughAcadia Central.
You are a transfer student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.67 or 80% and you must be in your first undergraduate degree program.
Apply for admission and provide all required admission documentation.
Scholarship applications and reference / endorsement forms (Two references are required, one must be academic) can be completed online.
Change in Scholarship Application Requirements for Nova Scotia Public School Students:Acadia University is waiving the requirement for Nova Scotia students to provide an academic letter of reference as part of the scholarship application for the 2017-18 year.
As well, Acadia University does not require academic letters of reference in order to be admitted to our university.

Acadia Renewable Scholarships for Leadership and Outstanding Character
Acadia University offers the following scholarships to eligible students with a minimum 95% scholarship average:

You must follow the academic criteria below to have the scholarship/award renewed annually.

Entrance awards requiring a separate application
In addition to the entrance scholarships covered by your admission application, you may apply for the scholarships listed below. These awards are offered to Acadia students by our generous donors and alumni, and are among the most prestigious in the country.
The Arthur Irving Academy Scholarships in Environmental Science ($60,000 over 4 years)
For students pursuing studies in environmental science or biology, the Arthur Irving Academy Scholarships in Environmental Science are among the most prestigious awards in Canada, offering financial assistance as well as mentorship and research project options.
Established by the Arthur Irving Academy Foundation, these scholarships make possible recipients’ learning experiences at the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre and the Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens, which will be integral parts of the students' education. Applicants are asked to submit a 500-word essay describing their interest in environmental science and the value of scientific and environmental research in making a significant difference to the world.
Value: Scholarships are awarded to high school students at a value of $60,000 ($15,000 per year) and graduate students at a value of $40,000 ($20,000 per year). All recipients must enroll or be enrolled in environmental science or biology at Acadia University.
Each recipient must present strong academic credentials and have a history of leadership, community service and extracurricular activities. Renewability conditions apply for each of the three scholarships.
Deadline: Applications for the undergraduate scholarship must be received by March 31. Applications for the graduate scholarship must be received by May 31.
The Arthur Irving Academy Scholarships Review Panel will select and interview a shortlisted group of applicants.Shortlisted candidates for the undergraduate scholarship will be interviewed in Wolfville in early April. Candidates from outside of the Atlantic Provinces may be interviewed by Skype or videoconference.

The Tantramar Scholarship ($60,000 over 4 years)
The Tantramar Scholarship is awarded annually on a renewable basis to an entering student from Tantramar Regional High School registered in a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor/Certificate of Applied Science or Bachelor of Science program at Acadia University. Preference will be given to students studying in business administration, engineering, physics, or mathematics and statistics. The recipient will possess the characteristics of John and Anne Wilson, namely he/she will be entrepreneurial, positively involved in the community life of the Sackville, New Brunswick area, and will have demonstrated potential to contribute to, and benefit from, an Acadia University education. The scholarship was established in 2005 by the generosity of the Wilson family and holds a program value of up to $38,000. In addition, the scholarship includes a residence scholarship, courtesy of Acadia University, for each of the four years at Acadia at a total value of $22,000. Please note: To be considered for this scholarship, students must have a minimum 80% average in grade 11 and grade 12.
Value: $38,000 + $22,000 ( residence scholarship ) over 4 years.

The Roland & Leona Mullen Business Award ($10,000 over 4 years)
The Roland & Leona Mullen Business Award is awarded annually on a renewable basis to a student entering the Bachelor of Business Administration degree program or the Bachelor of Arts degree program with a major in Economics. Preference will be given to a student from Western Canada (Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia) who demonstrates financial need; a commitment to entrepreneurship, community service and athletics.
Value: $2500 renewable

The Rotary Club of Wolfville-Acadia University Award ($2,000)
The Rotary Club of Wolfville-Acadia University Award will be awarded annually on a renewable basis to a student who is a graduate from the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board, and who is entering the first year of a degree or certificate program at Acadia University. The applicant must possess an outstanding high school academic record and demonstrate a “Rotary Spirit” through evidence of community service and/or leadership initiatives that have positively affected the quality of life of others. Preference will be given to students who exhibit financial need. The Rotary Club of Wolfville provides the award in partnership with Acadia University to ensure that outstanding local candidates have an opportunity to attend university.

The Port Williams Jam Scholastic Award ($1,500)
The Port Williams Jam Scholastic Award is available annually to a Canadian citizen who is entering their first year at Acadia has been a resident in the Village of Port Williams for at least five years. The recipient will have exhibited scholastic merit (a minimum academic performance of 75 per cent in Grades 11 and 12), can demonstrate financial need, and will have made a positive contribution to community life and church affairs.
Value: $1,500

The VEMCO Entrance Scholarships in Business ($1,250)
The VEMCO Entrance Scholarships in Business are awarded annually to two students entering the Bachelor of Business Administration degree program and who have participated in extracurricular activity. At least one recipient will be a Nova Scotia resident. Preference will be given to the children of VEMCO/AMIRIX Systems Inc. employees and those who have demonstrated an entrepreneurial mind-set. The awards are made on recommendation of the Director of the Fred C. Manning School of Business. The scholarships were established in 2010 through the generosity of VEMCO/AMIRIX Systems Inc. in their support of post-secondary education.

The Annapolis Valley Regional School Board-Acadia University Scholarship ($1,000)
Two scholarships will be awarded annually to a student who is of African descent or of Aboriginal descent, a graduate from the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board, and who is entering the first year of a Bachelor of Education program at Acadia University. The eligible students must fully complete the application form provided, accompanied by a Letter of Application. The Annapolis Valley Regional School Board provides the funding for this scholarship.
Value: $1,000
The Acadia Alumni Award Program ($500)
Children and grandchildren of Acadia alumni are eligible for this one-time award to be applied against their first-year tuition.

一次性發(fā)放給阿卡迪亞大學校友的子女或子孫女。用于第一年學費。
