Steps to Apply
Step 1: Complete Your International Application
USF makes applying easy with our online application which should take you only approximately 30 minutes.
Step 2: Send Academic Records
After you have submitted your online application to USF, you will need to submit the following:
Original or certified copies of academic transcripts, mark sheets, grade reports, diplomas or certificates, national standardized examination results, or other academic course work.
Include a certified English translation for all documents not written in English. If you need assistance translating your documents into English, we recommend using the American Translators Association to find a certified translator.
We can accept digital copies of these secondary and post-secondary school records e-mailed directly from an appropriate official at your school in order to expedite the review process for your application. You can also have your school mail us your transcripts.
Please note that transcripts submitted for admission become the property of the University of South Florida and cannot be returned to you or sent to another college or university.
Step 3: Provide Test Scores
All freshman applicants are required to submit official SAT or ACT scores.
The minimum exam subscores required for consideration for admission to USF are outlined below:
Minimum SAT subscores:
500+ Evidence-Based Reading; 500+ Math; Minimum
ACT subscores:
19 Reading,19 Mathematics,17 English.
Please note that merely meeting the above listed minimums is not a guarantee of admissibility. Meeting the minimum subscores can, however, exempt you from having to provide proof of English proficiency.
The most common way of demonstrating English proficiency is through standardized exams such as the TOEFL Internet-based (iBT), IELTS, SAT, or ACT. Students who have taken these exams should request that an official score report be sent from College Board/ETS or the British Council.
A TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 79 (internet-based) or higher will enable you to be considered for admission directly into university-level academic programs.
Step 4: Provide Financial Guarantee
In compliance with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regulations, all international applicants must provide evidence of sufficient funds available for their studies. We require a current bank statement (dated within the past two months) on bank letterhead, with the name of the account holder and currency clearly indicated in English. An Affidavit of Support cannot be used in place of a bank statement.
Documentation of available funds for a full academic year or two semesters, including tuition, fees, and living expenses is required before the University of South Florida can issue you an I-20 or DS-2019. Therefore, we encourage you to submit your financial documents during the application process. If you do not, your application will still be processed, but your I-20 or DS-2019 will not be issued until you have provided sufficient evidence of financial support.

請注意，提交的成績單將成為南佛羅里達(dá)大學(xué)的財(cái)產(chǎn)，因此不再返還給你，也不發(fā)到其他學(xué)院或大學(xué)。
第三步：提供考試成績
所有新生申請人都需要提交SAT 或 ACT 成績。
單項(xiàng)考試成績的最低錄取要求如下：
