    1、舉例論證
    在雅思口語考試中,舉例論證是最為有效的一種方法。Part 2話題描述中,如果僅有描述,仍會(huì)讓整個(gè)陳述略顯有些平淡,建議考生在描述的同時(shí)加上相應(yīng)的例子,這樣可以大大增加描述內(nèi)容的豐富性和生動(dòng)性。但是, 在Part 2里例子,并不要正式的舉例,如“For example”;口語化的一些表達(dá)方式會(huì)更自然一些。
    2、細(xì)節(jié)描述法
    WH細(xì)節(jié)描述法是老師一致當(dāng)考生在面對(duì)話題無從下手時(shí),可以利用 ”WH Questions”來引導(dǎo)思路的拓展,包括 “what, when, where, who(whom), why, how (how exactly, how often, how long, how much, how many)”。
    例如,Describe a restaurant or cafe you like. 首先須明確what(the Bookworm),when(some five years ago), where (down the south of Chengdu),who(foreigners for most of time);其次是整個(gè)描述的重點(diǎn)why(comfortable, pleasant, intimate ),how exactly (detailed detion of being comfortable, pleasant, and intimate),how often(once a month…),how much(30-40 yuan on average per person),how many(3 in Whole China)。
    3、數(shù)據(jù)支撐法
    建議考生在使用數(shù)據(jù)的時(shí)候不要太過夸張數(shù)字,而且頻率不應(yīng)過多,使用一次數(shù)據(jù)就可以了。另外,與雅思寫作有別的是,在寫作中引用數(shù)據(jù)時(shí)有個(gè)出處或來源,但在回答口語Part 2問題時(shí),這個(gè)出處可以省略,否則會(huì)導(dǎo)致回答內(nèi)容是背誦的嫌疑,降低真實(shí)性,這就與我們的初衷背道相馳了。

    常見問題一:你要描述的人是誰?Who this friendis?/Who he or she is?/Who thisperson is?/Who the character was?/Who these two people are?
    這個(gè)問題是幾乎所有人物類話題的問,屬于必答題?;卮疬@一問題的時(shí)候,我們不但需要告訴考官這個(gè)人是誰(這是最基本的),而且要對(duì)所描述的他/她進(jìn)行一些修飾,要讓考官在沒有見過這個(gè)人的情況下能夠閉上眼仿佛看到這個(gè)人就正站在身旁一樣。評(píng)書中所說的“此人眉分八彩,目若朗星,準(zhǔn)頭端正,齒白唇紅”起的就是這一作用。
    He is well oversix feet tall,has this long straggly brown hair.     如果我們作答的時(shí)候可以說出以上的描述,考官想不給你都不可能。因?yàn)樵谒麄兡X海中可以清晰的浮現(xiàn)出這個(gè)人的形象,他好像正在向考官們走來,嘴里吐著煙圈,馬上要說“How are you doing, man?”了。所以,如果我們想讓自己的作答能夠使考官眼前一亮、記憶深刻,我們就要抓住細(xì)節(jié)來充分描述,比如說這個(gè)人身上比較有特點(diǎn)的地方:發(fā)型、體態(tài)、眼神、穿著等等。這些細(xì)節(jié)的描述遠(yuǎn)比那種范范的諸如“He‘s quite tall and strong with long hair on his head。”要生動(dòng)的多,所得的分?jǐn)?shù)自然也就相距甚遠(yuǎn)了。
    們?cè)诰毩?xí)時(shí)不妨把人物類話題歸為老人、孩子、同齡人、公眾人物這么幾類,然后再分別用細(xì)節(jié)描述這幾類人,使得在回答Who he or she is?時(shí)給考官一種活靈活現(xiàn)的感覺。
