    ►jack up 增加,提高;組織,安排;責(zé)備,規(guī)勸;停止,放棄
    eg. People are afraid that taxes will soon be jacked up. 人們擔(dān)心稅金會很快提高。
    eg. She jacked up the job because the salary was too low. 她辭掉了這項工作。因為薪水太低了。
    3. He cast a few furtive glances.
