My favourite festival
My favourite festival is the Mid-Autumn Festival. It’s in September or October. At this festival, people usually get together and look at the moon at night with their families. Sometimes we talk about those stories about the moon. The most famous story is about the Goddess Chang's fly to the moon. And people can also watch the wonderful fireworks .Of course, we eat those yummy moon cakes as well. I like this festival because the moon is so beautiful and the moon cakes are very yummy. What’s more important, I can get together with my grandparents.

I have studied for so many years. I believe that going to college can open the new chapter of my life. Now the future is so close to me. I will go to college in six months, so I focus all my attention and fight for my future. When my classmates and I talked about future, I told them that I wanted to be a teacher. On the one hand, I could pass the knowledge to the students, making contribution to the society and found my value. On the other hand, I could enjoy the long vacation to explore the world. When I was very small, I read a lot of travel books. I always wanted to travel around the world and broaden my vision. So even I would become a college student, I still needed to study hard.

The person I want to thank most is my English teacher.
He is a very kind person, who always has a big smile on his face. He is also hard-?working, which makes him one of the best teachers in our school. Besides, he is veryhelpful. He has helped almost every student in our class.That's why he is very popular among us.
The reason why I want to thank my English teacher is that he always encourages me. Two years ago, I did really badly in English. But he tried his best to help me to solve the problems. Thanks to his help, I made great progress in my English study.
